The collector assistant is responsible for assistance to the collector by maintaining safety and security of all assets to and from all route locations, and company vault. Follows all operating procedures, safety regulations, policies, and procedures. Maintaining a level of customer service that meets company requirements for service to all route service locations.In addition to collector assistant duties, the collector assistant will assist with training newly hired team members while in the field, office, and warehouse. Provide regular feedback to department leadership regarding any deficiencies found while on the route.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards.Provide safety and security of all company assets and personnel performing duties at all route service locations.Acclimate new hires to the business, culture, and guest service expectations of the company.Assist management with training of newly hired team members.Observe new hires performing job duties and issue feedback to correct performing not meeting company expectations and provide positive feedback for success to department management. Report back daily to department leadership on how new hires are performing.Provide dual custody to all revenue collection processes.Assist with collecting all revenue from gaming devices within the service route locations.Responsible for assisting during the count and documentation of all currency and wagering devices in non-restricted locations in route collections.Accurately and efficiently complete all necessary paperwork for turn in of gaming revenue.Safely document and deliver security sealed bags collected within Golden Route Operations locations and deliver to the vault for processing.Ability to inspect, safely operate, and maintain all company safe driving standards.Qualifications:Experience conducting on the job training preferred.Ability to communicate need for job performance improvement to others in a construct and non-demeaning manner.Ability to effectively, objectively communicate to upper management.Able to communicate effectively with team members, guests, location owners/managers and Supervisors.Familiar with and knowledgeable of the area road systemComfortable driving during various driving conditions and traffic patterns, including rush hourProven experience providing high level of guest service.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents.Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations.Able to successfully work independently.Must be at least 21 years of age.High school diploma or equivalent.Ability to functionally communicate occupational-based English, both written and verbal.Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.Verify right to work in the United States.Ability to carry weapon, duty belt, magazines w./ammunition, handcuffs, pepper spray if team member can achieve compliance and gaming requirements (optional).Work Cards:NV GamingValid NV Drivers' License10 Year DMV History ReportPhysical Requirements:Frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and/or chest levelsFrequently bend, reach, twist, climb, squat, kneel, stand, and walkFrequently sitting and drivingConstant use of hearing and vision, distinguish between shades of color, and use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterityWork Environment Potential Conditions:Indoor and outdoorSmoky and noisyExtreme hot and cold temperatures, including humidity.Driving and/or riding in vehicle
