Verify piece rate figures (and number of hours worked for hourly employees) for payroll. Prepares master schedule to establish sequence and lead time for the operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts, customer orders and installation/service jobs. Enters orders into the system daily. Analyzes installation/service needs and specifications to determine the requirements for installers and service technicians, product, equipment and tools. Confers with department supervisors and sales personnel to determine status of existing, newly sold and assigned projects. Plans and schedules workflow for each installation/service department(s) according to previously established lead times. Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. Cost inventory. Help ensure that all C. O. D. orders are being collected at time of job completion. Performs inside sales function within location. Maintain weekly reports on units/service scheduled and units/service completed. Communicate with builder field superintendents to help reduce dry runs. Service scheduler tracks warranty calls for each installer/service technician Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS 1 year scheduling experience, door industry preferred Attention to detail and problem solving. Excellent telephone, written and verbal communication skills while interfacing with all levels of staff and customers. Working knowledge of PC’s and related software including MS Word, Excel, Access, Lotus Notes, etc. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume Willingness to learn product and processes. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Education High School Diploma or GED Physical/Work Environment Requirements Ability to stand for long periods of time in a non-climate controlled environment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
