Senior Project Manager, Master Data Governance
Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.We are seeking a Senior Master Data Governance Project Manager on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is on-site in Sunnyvale, CA.This role is responsible for ensuring IT applications projects in the Master Data Governance area are completed to the agreed-upon level of quality and within the predefined financial, personnel, and material constraints.ResponsibilitiesEstablish project direction and define clear goals, objectives, and delivery strategiesDevelop work plans and resource plans for IT solution deployments, including critical path and resource managementDefine, monitor, and support project development and deployment metricsCreate, execute, and maintain detailed project work plans and assign responsibilities across project teamsManage project scope, timelines, risks, and issue resolution activitiesEnsure project deliverables are completed on time and meet quality expectationsCommunicate system changes and project updates to stakeholders and business application teamsEnsure alignment and collaboration across project teams toward shared objectivesResolve team conflicts and support effective cross-functional teamworkEnsure compliance with IT change management policies, regulatory requirements, standards, methods, and proceduresLead cross-functional business application initiatives and coordinate project execution activitiesSkills And QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experienceMinimum of 8 years of experience leading major cross-functional business application projectsExperience managing SAP, ERP, or similar enterprise application initiativesStrong understanding of project management methodologies and best practicesFamiliarity with master data governance principles and best practice processesStrong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skillsAbility to work effectively in rapidly changing and ambiguous business environmentsProven ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across all organizational levelsStrong conflict resolution and problem-solving skillsStrong work ethic with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives to completionExperience working within cross-functional team environmentsPreferred QualificationsMedical device industry experiencePMP or other project management certificationWe offer a competitive salary range for this position.
