Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Columbia, SC Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $1,813 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position ID: 76583951 Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Description: Registered Respiratory Therapist only.Must be an RRT to work at Prisma Health. Weekends are required frequency will vary but usually not more than every other. Seeking a team player motivated to work well with others. RTO should be limited and holidays will not be guaranteed.call requirements for 36 hour contracts There would be up to 2 call shifts per 6 week schedule (up to 4 call shifts per 13 week contract could be possible). There will not be more than one call shift on any 1 week (unit would not schedule traveler for 3 shifts 2 call shifts in the same week). While on call for night shift, travelers are only on call from 4PM 8PM, not the entire 12 hour shift. After 8PM, traveler is no longer on call and would not be called in. Travelers will need to begin the process of converting to an employee status after working their third consecutive 13-week contract or after 39 weeks. If the traveler does not wish to convert to a team member status, they will be required to take a minimum six-month separation before they are eligible to return as a traveler for the organization. Travelers must be 100 miles from every Prisma facility (regardless of where they are applying) to be eligible to travel in the system, unless they are one of the two exceptions below 90-99.9 miles are accepted at a 10% bill rate reduction 100 miles full bill rate Exception 1: Night shift travelers for below specialties must be 50 miles ONLY from the contracted campus they re applying to. Full BR granted at 100 miles away. 50.0-99.9 miles is 10% bill rate reduction. Under 50 miles is ineligible. Adult Multi-Specialty Adult Medical Tele / Adult Cardiac Tele / Progressive Care All RRT Exception 2: Below specialties must be 50 miles from the relevant flagship hospital ( Prisma Richland or Prisma Greenville). Full BR granted at 100 miles away. 50.0-99.9 miles is 10% bill rate reduction. Under 50 miles is ineligible. Operating Room (including allied and SPT) Cath Lab (including allied) CT / MRI / IR Techs / Echo Techs MLTs, SLPs, PTs, OTs, Dietitians Adult ICU Prisma Health Tuomey (All open positions) Local radius: 60 miles For CRNAs only Will consider nurses with 1 years of recent experience in unit. Must send SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER with submittal. Orientation is every Monday. Pre Assignment testing (all RN s) and modules required for all travelers to complete within 48 hours of receiving the login information (which usually comes within 24 hours of the nurse signing their contract). Travelers are eligible for reimbursement for hours spent completing modules (up to 16 hours) and time will be verified upon start of contract. However, it is a requirement for all assignments that agency staff, regardless of unit or facility, must float to other Prisma Health units and/or campuses per request due to census concerns.
