Job DescriptionCommercial HVAC EstimatorReports to: Preconstruction/Estimating LeadershipWe are seeking a results-oriented Commercial HVAC Estimator with progressive estimating experience in mechanical construction. Join a Houston market contractor with 20+ years delivering HVAC, refrigeration, chilled water, controls, sheet metal, and full lifecycle mechanical services for commercial, healthcare, industrial, hospitality and institutional clients.What You Will DoLead quantity takeoffs, detailed cost builds, and line-item assemblies for commercial HVAC and mechanical scopesReview plans/specs for ductwork, piping, equipment, controls, insulating, and balancing scopesPrepare complete bid packages for new construction and remodel contracts ($100K-$4M+)Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricingIdentify value-engineering opportunities while protecting marginWork with leadership to refine pricing assumptions and model historical dataWhat We Expect3-5+ years commercial HVAC estimating experienceProficiency reading blueprints, specifications, and mechanical detailsFamiliarity with HVAC equipment, chillers, rooftop units, pumps, VAV/controls, and piping systemsStrong analytical skills, organized documentation, and estimating software literacyCoachable, detail-oriented, team-focusedWhy It's a Great OpportunityFull-service mechanical workload with deeper scope than pure HVAC repsStable backlog and diverse project pipelineCompetitive pay with benefits and retirement matchOpportunity for growth and preconstruction leadershipCall Tony at 515 461 9809 or email at tony.murray@gogpac.com
