If you are, then Jones Day may be the firm for you.Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:The Facilities and Support Services Manager manages the activities of the Support Services Department ensuring all facilities are functional and well-maintained. The Manager supervises all department staff and oversees the daily operations of the mailroom, central duplicating, courier and messenger services, office services and facilities services, and works closely with Office leadership on matters related to building space, construction, renovation and building maintenance, security, parking and related budgeting. The Manager monitors productivity, develops and implements procedures, ensures that space, equipment and technology are used effectively; monitors attendance and performance issues; contributes to constructive resolutions of conflicts; and participates in the hiring and performance evaluation processes. The Manager commits to maintaining expertise in his/her areas of responsibility and provides superior service to clients, produces quality work products and maintains an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.Minimum of five (5) years of experience in facilities and office services management in a professional services environment.Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience.Jones Day offers competitive salaries and benefits to all employees. Compensation is determined upon the market in which the position is located, the responsibilities of the position, the experience and skills of the applicant, and other job-related factors.
