Job Summary: Linux Security Engineer Job RequirementsWe are looking to accelerate delivery timelines for software updates across our range of tooling used to manage Kerberos authentication and related activities at Morgan StanleyIdeal: Highly experienced UNIX/Linux systems/security engineer proficient in C systems and network programming and systems integration in an enterprise environmentMust have:Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating environmentsProficiency with UNIX/Linux systems and network programming IN CExperience with Perl programmingAwareness of security concepts and defensive programmingFamiliarity with KerberosAbility to work to delivery deadlinesVery nice to haveExperience of contributing to open source projectsFamiliarity with PythonExcellent written and verbal communications skillsNice to have:Experience with deployment automation pipelines (Jenkins)Kerberos development experienceComfort working in an agile development environmentWhat we are not seeking:Pure developers unfamiliar with deployment and problem resolution challengesEmbedded C developersHigh level language developers are unfamiliar with direct use of the UNIX/Linux C system interface. Please send matching resumes at the earliest along with the candidate's location, contact information, work authorization, and rate expectations.
