We provide customers with products and value-added solutions within Fluid Power, Fluid Process, Fluid Conveyance, General Industrial Components, and Industrial Repair. www.sun-source.comThe Warehouse Associate will receive incoming merchandise as well as pick and pack customer orders, stock merchandise, assemblies, and daily local deliveries.Essential FunctionsPick Distribution Center Orders: Collect product required for orders Inspect packaging and product for damageProcess pick ticketsDistribute finished product to customer’s assembly areaPack Distribution Center Orders: Pack merchandise properly to insure safe arrival to its destination. Label packages appropriatelyShip Orders: Prepare barcodes, manifests, and invoices. Maintain shipping recordsCalculate shipping costsDetermine appropriate mode of transportation and process accordinglyReceive Merchandise: Verify accuracy of inbound shipments. Prepare and process reportsDistribute merchandise to stock locationsOther Duties: Product assembly work as neededDaily deliveries to local customersMaintain Warehouse: clean as necessary, load / unload, restockExperience, Education And SkillsHigh School Diploma or G.E.D. requiredPrevious work experience within a warehouse distribution environment preferredPrevious shipping/receiving experience including experience with FedEx, DHL or other shipping programs is preferredAbility to stand and walk throughout the day and lift up to 75 lbs as needed Forklift experience is preferred Clear and concise verbal and written communication skillsComputer proficiency to include use of MS Office programsMust be organized and have attention to detailValid Drivers License with a clean driving record We are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer M/F/V/D.
