Administrative AssistantA small, multi-faceted South Central Pennsylvania firm is looking for an organized, motivated,and detail oriented administrative person to assist in managing three businesses under one roof.Skills:Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – Word and Excel in particularTelephone Etiquette – listening and responding appropriatelyEffective communicator – verbally and written (correspondence, emails, etc.), including correct punctuation, proper grammar, and professional toneAdept at storing and retrieving files – physically and on a computerTranscription from dictated informationBookkeeping experience – writing checks, making deposits, reconciling accounts using company softwareFamiliarity with financial accounting, and tax software a plus, but not requiredTranscribingDictationCharacteristics:Ability to work independently – process information, follow instructions, and complete tasks with minimal supervisionStrong time management skills – punctual, meet deadlines, readjust priorities when unforeseen issues arise, plan the day for productivityHighly organizedMulti-taskerConcern for security and confidentialityTeam member with demonstrated interpersonal skills and positive attitudeAbility to work in an atmosphere where the work is varied each dayAdministrative AssistantA small, multi-faceted South Central Pennsylvania firm is looking for an organized, motivated,and detail oriented administrative person to assist in managing three businesses under one roof.Job Responsibilities include: Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation for three businesses.Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying.Transcribing correspondence from dictation.Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies.Bookkeeping experience – writing checks, making deposits, reconciling accounts using company softwareFamiliarity with financial accounting, and tax software a plus, but not requiredThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills and characteristics:Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – Word and Excel in particularTelephone Etiquette – listening and responding appropriatelyEffective communicator – verbally and written (correspondence, emails, etc.), including correct punctuation, proper grammar, and professional toneAdept at storing and retrieving files – physically and on a computerAbility to work independently – process information, follow instructions, and complete tasks with minimal supervisionStrong time management skills – punctual, meet deadlines, readjust priorities when unforeseen issues arise, plan the day for productivityHighly organizedMulti-taskerConcern for security and confidentialityTeam member with demonstrated interpersonal skills and positive attitudeAbility to work in an atmosphere where the work is varied each dayWork Hours and benefits:Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pmComprehensive benefit package, including health, dental, and vision insurance.Eligible for company profit sharing plan after one year of employment.Education and Experience Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent education required3 years of administrative assistant experience
