Physician - Chief of Radiation Oncology

Job Title Help Duties include, but are not limited to: Performance of all administrative duties related to supervision and leadership, including working with HR, Fiscal Participate, represent, and participate for the Radiation Oncology department in various meetings, including reporting to the Chief of Staff Office Ensure the Mission of patient care access is operating within the appropriate requirements for the department Complete all compliance and evaluations of the department staff. Responsible for the care, medical management of the procedure, subsequent evaluation and care, medical direction of non-physicians providing direct and indirect care, and provision of immediate diagnosis and treatment of emergencies. Performance of a variety of interventional radiology procedures, utilizing specialized techniques such as intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), and stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) to precisely target tumors. Participation in Quality Management activities such as image quality, peer review, and other activities as needed. Develops and maintains rapport and gains the confidence of patients and relatives through competence and interpersonal skills to the end that patients and others are informed participants in the treatment effort Documentation of consultations in the electronic medical record.
