While there is no immediate hiring need, we are proactively identifying strong candidates for future SEC Technical Reporting Analystopportunities with our clients. The SEC Technical Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of the company's financial reporting in accordance with SEC regulations. This role focuses on the preparation and filing of SEC documents such as 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other required filings, as well as providing technical accounting support related to financial reporting.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements, and other regulatory documents) to ensure compliance with SEC rules and regulations.Assist in the preparation of financial statements and footnotes in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.Research and interpret technical accounting issues, including new accounting standards, and assist in their implementation.Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, finance, and accounting, to gather necessary information for SEC filings.Maintain knowledge of current SEC regulations and reporting requirements to ensure continuous compliance.Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial reports, including disclosures.Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations regarding financial reporting.Help ensure accuracy and consistency of information across various reporting channels.Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.Proven experience in SEC reporting, financial reporting, or technical accounting (3+ years preferred).Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.WHO WE AREUHY is one of the nation's largest professional services firms providing audit, tax, consulting and advisory services to clients primarily in the dynamic middle market.
