The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with a strong background in sports management, sustainability, or related sectors, and a proven track record in strategic planning, organizational leadership, and partnership development. This role is pivotal in driving bold climate action and social progress, and the Executive Director will be responsible for setting the strategic direction, ensuring the organization's financial health, and inspiring a passionate team to deliver innovative programs and events that bring sustainability to life through sport. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include fostering a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative organizational culture, guiding the evolution of strategic pillars, and acting as a facilitator between the worlds of sport and sustainability. The role also involves driving business development, sponsorship, and membership growth, as well as overseeing budgeting, financial performance, and staff management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the sports and entertainment ecosystem, excellent public speaking and communication skills, and experience in leading diverse teams.
