Staff Cost Accountant - Cost AccountingFinance DepartmentPosition Summary:The Staff Accountant maintains financial records, prepares financial reports, performs account reconciliations, reviews, and analyzes general ledger transactions, assists other departments, and applies critical thinking to solve dynamic problems.Outline of duties:Prepares, analyzes, and reviews financial statements using accounting principles.Calculates and records daily/weekly journal entries.Assists with the budgeting and forecasting of areas of responsibility.Prepares periodic reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) for internal Finance and external SIA purposes.Coordinates accounting matters with other departments Prepares ad-hoc reports as neededInitiates and performs special projects.Prepares physical inventory audits and controlsApplies critical thinking to solve dynamic problemsAll other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting required plus 1 or more years relevant experienceExperience with MS Office applicationsDesired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting required plus 3 or more years relevant experienceExperience with SAP Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer committed to employing a diverse workforce.
