Job Title: Mammography Technologist (Contract)Location: Cincinnati, OhioContract: 13 WeeksJob Type: Local Contract (13 Weeks)Shift: Day Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PMGuaranteed Hours: 40 hours/weekJob OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist for a 13-week contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will be skilled in performing high-quality mammography and assisting with breast imaging procedures while delivering compassionate patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform high-quality mammography imaging following established standardsOperate mammography and ultrasound equipment effectivelyAssist radiologists with procedures such as cyst aspirations and needle localizationsEnsure proper radiation safety practices at all timesAccurately document patient history, imaging details, and exam dataMaintain cleanliness and readiness of equipment and procedure roomsTrack and manage exams within Radiology Information Systems (RIS)Prepare patients for procedures and explain processes to ensure comfortAssist with biopsies and additional imaging studies as neededMaintain patient confidentiality and provide respectful, empathetic careRequired QualificationsMinimum 1 year of mammography experienceARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certification requiredCertified MammographerValid state licensure (as applicable)BLS certification (AHA required)Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology programCompletion of required mammography training and continuing education:40 hours of mammography training (if applicable)25 supervised mammograms8 hours of digital/tomosynthesis training15 CEUs in mammography (last 3 years)Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of mammography and ultrasound imagingFamiliarity with sterile techniques and quality control proceduresExcellent patient care and communication skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical settingAttention to detail and strong documentation accuracyAbout Pride:As a minority-owned business that delivers exceptional service to its clients and candidates by capitalizing on diverse recruiting, account management, and staffing backgrounds, Pride Health's expert team provides tailored and swift sourcing solutions to help connect healthcare talent with their dream jobs.
