PC Technician with Security Clearance

TEKsystems is seeking a PC Technician to support a government program on site at one of the below locations. This position requires an active Secret clearance, 3+ years of experience in desktop support, and one of the following certifications - CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, or CompTIA Network+. Positions will be on site in one of the following locations: Libby, MT, Nashville, TN, Concord, MA, San Francisco, CA or Mobile, AL Responsibilities:Provide second-tier support to end-users for PC, server, mainframe applications and hardware.Support responsibilities include software installation, and configurations.Performs technical, operational, and training support to users of personal computers either by telephone, or on-site for PC desktop hardware and software packages.Install and test personal computers, printers, and other peripherals, configure operating system, load shrink-wrap programs and other application software programs.Troubleshoots printer, computer, and peripheral incidents, performs hardware and software diagnostics, coordinates needed repairs, resolves computer system problems, including coordination between users and components of a local area network, and participates in the evaluation of system configuration and software.May simulate or recreate user problems to resolve operating difficulties.Recommend systems modifications to reduce user problems. Requirements:Active Secret clearanceCompTIA A+, or CompTIA Network+, or CompTIA Security+3+ years of desktop support experienceExperience supporting Windows 7, Windows 10, and Microsoft Office productsExperience with Remedy or similar ticketing system.
