Quality Technician III
Primary FunctionThe Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring product and process quality by applying quality techniques to analyze materials and workflows, clarifying standards for operations, inspecting and testing products, leading problem-solving efforts with cross functional teams, and containing quality concerns to ensure our products meet the organization’s quality standards.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and Improve Process constraints (issues) by driving Root Cause Analysis with other functionsUpdate and Develop Work InstructionsHold and Release FG product per standard and work instructionsTraining and development of Quality InspectorsPerform Process and Finished good AuditsAnalyze and report on production quality dataRespond to, resolve and report out on non conformancesConduct material trials and evaluations as needed.Liaison with Product Development on Process and Product improvements activitiesApprovals of deviations representing Quality organizationJob Requirements6+ Years of manufacturing experience, including 4 years within a quality or manufacturing technician role requiredMechanical technical degree or equivalent requiredProven experience with measurement systems and tooling, MSAStrong technical problem-solving skills (5 Wys, Fishbone, etc.)Proficient in reading complex blueprints and GD&THighly competent in data analysisExpert in capability studies and SPCAble to develop statistical sampling plans and sortsProficient in Excel and other analytical toolsStrong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to create reportsFamiliar with ISO 9001 preferredExperience with PPAP/APQP preferredAbout The CompanyThroughout a history dating back to 1881, Bradford White Corporation has been manufacturing some of the most high-performing, technologically advanced, and energy-saving products to the world market.
