Dispatch Supervisor

Overview: PACE Supply is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Dispatch Supervisor to join our team in Riverside, CA. This role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of delivery drivers to ensure timely deliveries, accurate scheduling, and exceptional customer service. Responsibilities: Schedule and sequence deliveries; assign routes, vehicles, and drivers Record and review key dispatch information, including departure times, destinations, products, and expected return times Oversee loading operations to ensure quality, productivity, and safety standards are met Maintain the Daily Delivery Schedule Board for driver visibility and efficiency Coordinate closely with sales staff to align delivery schedules with customer needs Supervise order pulling with a focus on auditing and shipping accurate customer orders Partner with management to ensure smooth shift transitions Monitor emails and ensure timely responses and task completion Inspect work areas to ensure safety compliance and overall facility cleanliness Guide and support drivers on workflow, daily activities, and customer interactions Foster a positive, cooperative work environment with customers, coworkers, and leadership Ensure all safety policies are followed, including proper incident and accident reporting Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications: Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify. High school diploma or equivalent required 1–2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Valid California driver’s license with a good driving record Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Ability to provide clear instructions in one-on-one and small group settings Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word Experience with inventory or management systems (MIS) preferred Basic knowledge of local geography to optimize delivery routes Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate across departments Must maintain attendance in accordance with company policy All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations. Work Environment Physical Requirements: The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs. regularly. This includes carrying, dragging, and walking with materials, as well as using a hand-truck. Prolonged periods of standing or sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Specific vision abilities required for this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Environmental Conditions: The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. Occasionally, the employee may be exposed to high, precarious places and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
