Assists with TEE’s and stress testing, providing images that support the physician’s ability to diagnose patients appropriately and identifies problems & implements appropriate interventions, including reporting critical values. Sets priorities for completion of studies based on acuity, patient preference and/or the coordination of care with nursing and other ancillary services. Obtains EKGs that reflect appropriate lead placement, minimal artifact, and correct patient information. Sets up and scans Holter Monitors, providing tracings that support the physician’s ability to diagnose patients appropriately.Performs related duties as required. QualificationsRequired:Education: Associate degree or professional training preferred. Certifications/Registrations/Licenses:ARDMS/RCDS or CCI/RCS Certification within 1 year of employmentAmerican Heart Association BLS CPR required, must be obtained within 7 days of hire.Preferred QualificationsExperience: 2 to 5 years of job-related experience is preferred.
