No prior experience required.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Greeting customers with a smile and assist with their shopping experienceSell retail merchandise in the retail storesAssist with and complete transactions for rentals such as lockers, inner tubes, and wheel chairsPrepare and sell ice cream, popcorn, and specialty candy at the Ice Cream Cart and Candy storeOffer additional products to offer the best experience at parkMerchandise and maintain sales displaysProcess transactions in a timely fashionComply with food handling, sanitation, and storage regulationsMaintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and other team membersProvide superior customer service to all customers in a polite and expedient mannerAssist customers with questions regarding Ocean Breeze WaterparkFollow park policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedQualifications:Must be at least 16 years of ageAbility to operate a computer, computer software, cash register, and credit card machineApproachable, outgoing, and excited about suggestive sellingAbility to accept guidance and supervisionAbility to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadershipBe aware, attentive, and work well with othersAbility to work in both indoor and shaded outdoor conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protectionPhysical Requirements:Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to 30 poundsBenefits:FREE Season PassFree TicketsPark discounts on food, merchandise, etc.Career DevelopmentWe also offer a retention bonus of up to $500 for team members that average a certain number of hours per week during the qualifying time period and work through a specified date.
