W-2 ONLY | No C2C, OPT, or Visa SponsorshipRole DescriptionThe Systems Programmer III – Mainframe Networking is responsible for the design, administration, maintenance, and support of IBM z/OS networking infrastructure supporting critical banking and financial systems. This role serves as a senior technical resource for secure, reliable, and highly available mainframe connectivity while supporting security, compliance, audit, and business continuity requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and support z/OS mainframe networking infrastructure.Configure and troubleshoot VTAM, TCP/IP, FTP/SFTP, TLS/AT-TLS, OSA-Express, TN3270, DNS, Enterprise Extender, and Connect (NDM).Install and maintain software using SMP/E and z/OSMF.Troubleshoot complex network, connectivity, performance, and availability issues.Support security, disaster recovery, compliance, and production operations.Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, application, and operations teams.Requirements5–7 years of hands-on z/OS mainframe systems programming experience.Expert knowledge of z/OS Communications Server and related networking technologies.Strong experience with SMP/E and z/OSMF.Proficiency in JCL, REXX, and CLIST.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Banking or financial services experience preferred.
