Apply now and be part of a team that fosters growth and encourages your professional development!About the role: As an Audit Senior in Squire's Audit & Assurance practice, you'll be a trusted member of client engagement teams, working closely with both clients and firm leadership to deliver thoughtful, high-quality audit services. Our mid-market focus allows you to build meaningful, long-term client relationships and gain hands-on exposure across a variety of industries—rather than being siloed into a single task or client. In this role, you'll take ownership of key areas of audit engagements, support and mentor junior team members, and collaborate with managers and partners throughout the audit process. You'll be encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, and apply professional judgment while continuing to grow your technical skills and client-service mindset.Responsibilities: Serve as a key point of contact for clients during audit engagements, building trust through clear communication and responsivenessPlan and execute audit procedures, including internal controls, substantive testing, and SOC-related work, under management guidancePrepare and review audit documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with professional standardsDraft financial statements, disclosures, and audit reports for small and mid-market clients? Collaborate closely with managers and partners to identify issues, discuss solutions, and ensure a smooth audit processMentor and support staff-level auditors by providing guidance, feedback, and on-the-job trainingBalance multiple engagements while maintaining a high standard of quality and client service Qualifications:2-3 years of public accounting experience, preferably with mid-market clients and financial statement auditsExposure to internal controls, SOC reporting, and audit testing strongly preferredBachelor's or master's degree in accounting, or an MBA with an accounting emphasisCPA exam eligible and actively pursuing CPA licensure (preferred)Strong understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards, with the ability to apply them in real-world client situationsTeam-oriented mindset with a collaborative, relationship-focused approach to client serviceProfessional, positive, and personable—comfortable building relationships with clients and colleaguesAuthorized to work in the United States Job Status: Full-Time, Salaried Work Location: Orem, UT; Salt Lake City, UT; Cedar City, UT; St. George, UT; Mesa, AZ Work Arrangements: In-office or Hybrid – majority in office Squire Benefits PackageSquire takes pride in offering our benefit-eligible employees a comprehensive benefits package tailored to meet the needs of both individuals and their families.
