Electrical Assembler

*Job Summary* We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electrical components, wiring electrical panels, and integrating electro-mechanical systems in accordance with detailed schematics and blueprints. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electronics assembly, PCB (Printed Circuit Board) handling, and electrical schematic interpretation. Your expertise will support the production of reliable electrical systems that meet rigorous engineering specifications. *Duties* * Assemble electrical components and electro-mechanical assemblies following detailed blueprints, schematics, and IPC 610 standards. * Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to accurately assemble wiring harnesses and control panels. * Use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and surface mount technology (SMT) techniques to install components onto PCBs and within electrical enclosures. * Build electrical panels by installing switches, relays, circuit breakers, connectors, and other components according to engineering specifications. * Perform soldering tasks with precision to ensure secure connections on surface-mount and through-hole components. * Conduct testing of assembled units using ohmmeters, multimeters, and other testing devices to verify electrical continuity and functionality. * Troubleshoot assembly issues by analyzing schematics and employing engineering troubleshooting methods on electro-mechanical components. * Follow blueprint specifications meticulously during assembly processes to ensure compliance with quality standards such as IPC 610. * Assist in the inspection of assemblies for defects or inconsistencies; document findings and implement corrective actions as needed. * Collaborate with engineering teams during prototype development or production runs to optimize assembly procedures. *Experience* * Proven experience in electronics assembly within a manufacturing environment; familiarity with PCB handling is essential. * Strong knowledge of reading electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and surface mount technology (SMT). * Hands-on experience with soldering techniques using both hand tools and automated equipment. * Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, testing instruments such as ohmmeters, and mechanical assembly tools. * Understanding of IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies is highly desirable. * Experience building electrical panels including wiring, component installation, and system testing. * Knowledge of electro-mechanical components integration and basic troubleshooting skills. * Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately while following blueprint specifications diligently. * Prior exposure to manufacturing processes involving machining or mechanical assembly is advantageous.
