Electrical Assembler
*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical components and systems with precision and adherence to technical specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in electronics assembly, schematic reading, and the use of hand tools and power tools. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and functionality of electro-mechanical products, supporting our commitment to manufacturing excellence and innovation.
*Duties*
* Assemble electrical components and systems according to detailed blueprints, schematics, and IPC 610 standards for electronic assembly.
* Interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to accurately wire electrical panels, circuit boards, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
* Use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and surface mount technology (SMT) techniques to assemble components reliably.
* Perform soldering on surface mount devices (SMD) and through-hole components with precision to meet quality standards.
* Conduct electrical testing using ohmmeters, multimeters, and troubleshooting tools to verify circuit integrity and functionality.
* Follow engineering troubleshooting procedures to identify and resolve issues during assembly or testing phases.
* Maintain a clean, organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols related to electrical wiring and component handling.
* Collaborate with engineering teams during prototype development or production runs to ensure specifications are met.
* Assist in the assembly of electrical panels by following detailed wiring diagrams and schematics.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on assembly processes and quality concerns.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience in electronics assembly, electrical wiring, or related manufacturing roles.
* Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
* Familiarity with surface mount technology (SMT), soldering techniques, and IPC 610 standards.
* Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and testing instruments such as ohmmeters.
* Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electro-mechanical components, and mechanical assembly is a plus.
* Ability to interpret technical documents accurately and follow blueprint specifications precisely.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity for intricate assembly tasks.
* Basic understanding of machining processes or mechanical assembly is advantageous.
* Effective communication skills for collaborating with engineering teams during troubleshooting or process improvements.
