Job Description Summary Aero Alliance is a joint venture that serves three customer segments - its two parent companies, Baker Hughes and GE Vernova, as well as Authorized Service Providers (ASP’s) network. In this role, Fleet Manager will support global regional teams by partnering with customers to provide a standard and lean approach to manage fleet programs. Job Description Job Summary and Key Responsibilities: Fleet Manager will act as a single point of contact from Aero Alliance for fleet programs under his/her responsibilities such as but not limited to: Support and/or drive fleet program lifecycle activities, from initiation, development, execution to monitoring Support efforts to screen and identify potential product fixes, bulletins, and process improvements for owned fleet(s) Drive communication to Channels (Baker Hughes & GE Vernova) Regional Teams Review and provide guidance on technical matter including spare parts readiness Participate as Aero Alliance Services key representative to Product Control Board to ensure all fleet programs are “service ready” upon release Partner with cross business and functional teams to develop business processes and tools that support our business, customers and/ or the fleet Support Channel’s (Baker Hughes & GE Vernova) User’s Conference efforts through participation & presenting 3rd level escalation point to assist customer facing teams as needed to resolve fleet issues Basic Qualification: For US Candidates only: Bachelor's degree in Engineering Minimum 8 Years of Experience in Engineering, Fleet Management and/or Product Management At least 8 years of Aero derivative Gas turbine experience or knowledge For Non US candidates only: Bachelor's degree in Engineering Significant Years of Experience in Engineering, Fleet Management and/or Product Management Significant years of Aero derivative Gas turbine experience or knowledge Desired Characteristics Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred (Internal Candidates only) Excellent project management and facilitation skills Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, product specifications, and industry codes Proven attention to detail, with excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, and personal organization skills to drive projects to completion. Ability to interface with internal and external customers and team across organizational boundaries Ability to communicate effectively, oral and written, with all levels of employees, management, and diverse audiences, including suppliers and internal / external customers. Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines, with ability to bring assignments to a successful completion Self-motivated, self-starter, and able to adapt quickly to change and work successfully in an evolving and culturally diverse/global environment Demonstrated ability to function as a proactive change agent, passionate about quality and customer loyalty Familiarity with Aero-derivative Products Proficiency in software applications MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Familiarity with AA/GEA/GEV/BH working and organizational relationships and processes is desired About Us: Aero Alliance is a Joint Venture that serves three segments of customers – its two parent companies, Baker Hughes and GE Vernova, as well as the Authorized Service Providers (ASP) network.
