Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Syracuse, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,836 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 24 Weeks Start Date: 5/19/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years post-A.A.S. degree clinical acute care experience required License: New York State license/registration as a Respiratory Therapist Certifications: A.A.S. in Respiratory Therapy Must-Have: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance. Description: The Respiratory Therapist will administer positive pressure and aerosol therapy to patients. They will institute and monitor oxygen therapy on patients. The role includes assisting physicians in instituting and maintaining continuous ventilation. The therapist will administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation. They will perform pulmonary function tests and radial arterial punctures. Candidates must be able to perform the majority of patient care functions needed in the acute care setting with minimal orientation and supervision. Every other weekend is required, including holidays based on the weekend schedule. This position does not accommodate block scheduling or a set schedule.
