About the Role:The Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney role is ideal for a mid-level attorney in complex business litigation, corporate disputes, and securities matters. This opportunity is well-suited for candidates seeking substantive legal work, career growth, and long-term advancement in a collaborative, high-performing legal environment.Responsibilities:Handle complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts, including case strategy and executionDraft and argue motions, pleadings, briefs, and legal memoranda related to business disputesManage cases involving contract disputes, business torts, and corporate and shareholder conflictsConduct legal research and analysis on commercial, corporate, and securities law issuesParticipate in discovery processes, including depositions, document review, and interrogatoriesCollaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategy, trial preparation, and client advisementRepresent clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedingsMaintain strong client communication and provide updates on case developments and legal risksQualifications:Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law schoolActive bar admission in good standing7+ years of experience in commercial litigation or business litigation at a reputable law firmExperience with corporate, commercial, or securities-related legal mattersStrong legal writing, drafting, and analytical skillsProven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced legal environmentExperience practicing in state and federal courtsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDesired Qualifications:Experience handling high-stakes or complex litigation mattersFamiliarity with shareholder disputes and securities litigationPrior courtroom or deposition experience with increasing responsibilityInterest in long-term career growth within a litigation-focused legal practiceAbility to work independently while contributing to a collaborative legal team environment
