A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRN - ER/n/nJob Details:/n• Work 12-hour shifts with guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 schedule or 40 hours for 8/10 schedule/n• 2 weekends per month required/n• Must have at least 2 years of ER experience (18 months minimum, 2 years preferred)/n• First-time travelers accepted/n• Will float to all 3 hospitals within 20 miles (Martin North, South, Tradition)/n• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, PALS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)/n• Epic experience at level 3 or 4 required/n• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required/n• Smoke free facility with no exceptions/n• White scrubs required/n• Free parking in unrestricted spaces/n• EKG and pharmacy test required during orientation with 2 attempts maximum/n• Non-billable modules averaging 6-15 hours must be completed pre-start/n• Skills include arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, central line management, gunshot wounds, IV vasopressors, dysrhythmia management, and traumatic amputation care/n• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application/n• No on-call requirements/n• Facility has strict do not call policy/n/nFacility:/nThis is a 332-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital that maintains Magnet status recognition for nursing excellence.
