Special Education Teacher (LBD) 2 positions - Maryville Elementary School 2026-2027 School Year

Maryville is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Special Education Teacher certified in Learning and Behavior Disorders (LBD).The ideal candidate will plan, organize, and deliver high-quality instruction designed to meet the individual needs of students with disabilities. This educator will demonstrate a strong belief that high expectations for all students are not only important, but achievable, and will implement instructional strategies and interventions that support students in reaching mastery of their learning goals.Responsibilities:Develop and implement standards-based lessons aligned to IEP goalsUse data to drive instruction and monitor student progressCollaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staffCreate a structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environmentImplement behavior supports and differentiated instructional strategiesMaintain accurate documentation and compliance with special education regulationsQualified candidates must hold appropriate LBD certification.This position is for the 2026-2027 school year.
