Your work directly supports the reliability and performance McElroy is known for.Schedule1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PMEnjoy 3-day weekends every weekWhat You’ll DoInspect machined parts and components to ensure they meet quality standardsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawingsUse precision tools like micrometers, calipers, and height gaugesPerform first article inspections and compare measurements to specificationsOperate inspection equipment (digital height gauges, surface testers, harness testers)Document non-conforming parts and support continuous improvement effortsCollaborate with engineers, machinists, and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issuesWork EnvironmentThis role is based at our Admiral Facility, where components are producedWhat We’re Looking ForAbility to read precision measurements within .001-inch accuracyExperience using inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)Strong understanding of blueprints and mechanical drawingsBasic computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel)Solid math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)Clear communication and teamwork skillsPhysical RequirementsSpend most of the shift standing, bending, squatting, and moving around equipmentClimb on or into machines to inspect parts when neededLift and move materials up to 50 lbsWork in tight or confined spaces around machinery
