Forward Deployed Engineer

The company has scaled quickly, reaching significant ARR growth with a lean engineering team and backing from top-tier investors.They are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with enterprise customers, helping deploy and customize AI voice solutions in production environments.This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and customers. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their needs, build technical solutions, create integrations, and translate real-world feedback into improvements for the platform.Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end implementation of AI-powered solutions for enterprise customersBuild integrations and workflows using technologies like Python and JavaScriptPartner with customers, sales, and product teams to scope requirements and deliver solutionsDesign prototypes and production-ready systemsBecome an expert in LLM-powered applications, prompting strategies, and AI workflowsIdentify customer insights and help shape product directionIdeal Background:2+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Technical PM, Customer Engineer, or similar)Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience building production software using Python, JavaScript, or similar languagesComfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environmentsUnderstanding of LLM applications and AI-powered systemsCompensation:$200K–$300K base salary + equityOpen to sponsoring qualified candidates across various visa typesLocation:Redwood City, CA (hybrid/on-site)The company is looking for someone who enjoys owning problems end-to-end, working directly with customers, and building products at the forefront of AI.
