The role focuses on server administration, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), Microsoft systems, and hybrid infrastructure operations.The position involves designing, maintaining, and optimizing IT systems while ensuring high availability, performance, security, and compliance across a multi-cloud environment. The candidate will also support automation, DevOps pipelines, and cross-functional infrastructure initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport, maintain, and enhance FDOT's IT infrastructure and server environmentsAdminister and monitor Windows Server environments (2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022)Manage Microsoft IIS, Active Directory, and system configurationsAdminister and support AWS and Azure cloud environmentsMonitor system performance (availability, latency, throughput, security)Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and network issuesConfigure and manage Azure DevOps, Git repositories, and CI/CD pipelinesImplement system upgrades, patches, and performance improvementsManage identity, access control, and security configurationsSupport network infrastructure including TCP/IP, DNS, and file sharingCollaborate with developers, contractors, and internal IT teamsRecommend improvements for scalability, cost efficiency, and performanceSupport middleware platforms and IT automation toolsDocument and automate administrative processesRequired Skills & Experience5 8 years IT infrastructure / systems administration experience2 3 years experience with Windows Server (2012 2022)2 3 years IIS administration experienceStrong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, NTFS, Samba/CIFS2 3 years AWS cloud experience (required)Azure cloud experience (preferred)Experience with Microsoft server environmentsExperience supporting enterprise infrastructure/network systemsExposure to middleware (API management, automation tools, batch jobs)Technical KnowledgeAWS services (in-depth)Microsoft Azure servicesWindows Server administrationLinux (RedHat & Ubuntu) administration and patchingNetworking fundamentals and cloud networkingAzure DevOps and Git-based CI/CDSecurity, identity, and access managementMulti-cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, optional Google Cloud Platform)EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field OR equivalent relevant experience
