We are a high-volume shop, with most of our builds taking less than a week to complete, so there are many projects to coordinate at the front end but it is not overwhelming when we actually get onsite.This job description assumes you have some PM experience...In this role, you will be a key member of the team. The field team will look to you for direction and guidance. Everyone wears multiple hats at SWS and chips in when necessary. You will be taught how to estimate projects so you can issue change orders and eventually assist our sales reps in sending budget quotes to customers.You will be expected to be a stickler for details, ensuring that materials for your projects are properly acquired and schedules are professionally coordinated with customers and sub-contractors. You will visit jobsites and assess readiness, identify potential problems, and offer solutions that will keep the project on time and on budget. You will oversee insurance and safety requirements, generate submittals and shop drawings, issue purchase orders, check-in received materials, and go over the build plan with the construction crew. You will be trusted to maximize profits and maintain customer confidence. As the company grows, you will be expected to grow with it, taking on more responsibilities and leadership roles.Required Skills and Experience· Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications· Advanced communication skills (verbal and written)· Attention to detail· Problem solving abilities and ability to easily adapt to changing circumstances· Organizational skills· Proficient in MS Office· Clean driving record· Positive attitude and great energy· Experience working with a team· 2+ years of construction project management or superintendent experienceDesired Skills and Experience· Bachelors degree from an accredited institution· Proficiency with QuickBooks· Recently completed OSHA training· Experience working with general contractors.Benefits· Base salary + bonus· Individual health insurance· Company computer· Up to 96 hours per year of paid personal time + company holidaysWork Environment· Office and warehouse majority of time· Construction sites on occasion-Must be able to help construct tanks as part of training program· Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. and climb ladders· You will report to the senior Project Manager.
