Creative Content Specialist
Position Summary
The Creative Content Specialist oversees the development and execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness to community promotion. This position creates content strategies, researches trending topics, and develops creative media that is consistent with and appropriately conveys company brand message.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Crafts well-researched content to drive traffic, engage, and covert target customers; including content such as blogs, press releases, email marketing, social media posts, website copy, presentations, and other forms of ad copy consistent with the brand tone and mission
Collaborates with marketing team members, manager, and other departments to create effective communications strategies that articulate our product’s core benefits consistently
Interacts with inbound and outbound marketing specialists, contract partners, and other internal team members to create and review content for consistent messaging
Assists in the development of the monthly marketing calendar
Assists and approves all graphic design projects including email templates, fliers, brochures, display banners, logos, landing pages, etc.
Optimizes all blog and web content for SEO
Produces recurring and special print and digital advertising
Implements and maintains branding style guides for the company, future communities, and product lines
Identifies and researches needs and gaps in content based on trends and customer insights; also recommends new topics, keywords, and strategies
Oversees video production management and professional real estate, lifestyle photography and general video/b-roll
Develops creative media library that includes all forms of creative content for marketing team to utilize
Assists with executing sales and community launch events
Qualifications and Skills
Three to five years’ experience in marketing, PR, advertising, or communications required
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related discipline preferred
Proficient in the use of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and Adobe Creative products
Excellent creative writing, time management, and organizational skills required
Ability to effectively communicate and receive feedback from multiple stakeholders
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
Works in a temperature-controlled office environment, with low noise levels
Prolonged periods of sitting required
Occasionally required to walk, stand, and lift objects weighing 25 pounds
