Class A CDL Driver

Class "A" CDL DriverThe CDL Driver operates an F-450 truck with gooseneck trailer to load and move trench safety equipment, to and from branch and client locations in a safe and legal manner. This position ensures that all equipment pick-up and delivery needs of the branch are conducted in an efficient, safe, accurate, and timely manner. This position also manages the maintenance of the vehicle, both inside and out.Primary duties include:Loads/unloads equipment, using forklifts, delivering the equipment between branch and client locationsAct as a liaison between customers, and other departments of the branch, to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded in terms of rental equipment deliveryProduce all required service tickets, time sheets, and other work documentation accurately, completely, and in a timely mannerProduce all DOT inspections, logs, and documentation, as required by law, to branch management as requiredBe an ambassador for safety, making sure all work and driving is done in the safest mannerMaintain truck appearance and maintenance communicating with branch management any vehicle deficienciesMaintain all types and levels of job-related training as requiredPerforms other duties as required by ManagementEducation, knowledge, competencies, and skills required include:Must have a "Class A" CDLMust be able to pass DOT Physical and all required drug and alcohol screeningsMust have a minimum of one-year commercial truck driving experienceMust have and maintain a clean driving record for insurance coverage purposesMust be willing to work overtimeMust have a basic understanding of truck maintenance conceptsHigh school diploma preferred4-Horn Trench & Shoring is an Equal Opportunity Company.
