Join the Famous Toastery Team as a Host!Are you someone who loves making a great first and last impression? Do you enjoy creating memorable experiences for guests? If so, Famous Toastery is looking for you! As a host, you'll roll out the red carpet and make all of our guests feel Famous.Duties/Responsibilities:Open doors for arriving and departing guests.Greet, engage, and seat all guests in a warm and friendly manner, making a Famous first impression.Accommodate any special needs (i.e., boosters, highchairs, disabilities, large parties, etc.).Assist in maintaining the overall guest flow of the restaurant.Inquire about guests' experiences as they depart, thank them for dining with us, and invite them back.Perform side duties including, but not limited to, answering the phone, taking "To Go" orders, bussing tables, general cleaning, expediting orders, and checking out guests.Manage the waitlist as needed, quoting accurate wait times.Provide assistance to servers.Maintain clean and organized work and entry areas (including windows, ledges, door handles, and floors).Check the overall cleanliness of the restrooms every 30 minutes.Understand and accurately use the P.O.S. (point of sale) system for clocking in/out, processing "To Go" orders and guest checks, and completing end-of-shift duties.
