You'll design and implement backend systems that protect users, power real‐time fraud detection, and integrate deeply with modern AI/ML tooling.What You'll Do Build and optimize fraud‐prevention and device‐authentication systems using Node.js and TypeScriptDevelop payment interceptors, high‐risk action authentication, and step‐up flowsIntegrate backend services with GCP (Spanner, BigQuery, GKE) and containerized environmentsCollaborate with AI/ML systems, including Google Vertex and GeminiContribute to architectural decisions and technical strategyWork with RESTful APIs, microservices, and secure authentication patterns (OIDC/OAuth2)Write clean, maintainable, well‐documented code in a fast‐moving engineering cultureWhat You Bring Strong experience building backend systems with Node.js and TypeScriptPractical understanding of OIDC/OAuth2 ecosystems and authentication strategiesHands‐on experience with GCP services (GKE familiarity expected; Spanner preferred)Background in Kubernetes, microservices, and relational databases (Postgres or similar)Experience with authentication, security best practices, and fraud‐related systemsFamiliarity with AI/ML integration—especially Vertex and Gemini (preferred)Experience with financial products is a plus, but deep technical curiosity matters moreSoft Skills Strong problem‐solving instincts paired with good judgment on when to push vs. when to alignClear, effective communication in a collaborative, engineering‐led environmentSelf‐driven, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguityThrives in remote, distributed teams and asks for context early to stay unblocked#J-18808-Ljbffr
