Job OverviewJoin Matrix Providers as a Diagnostic Radiologist, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to Military Service Members and their families at the Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Unit in Groton, CT. This position offers the advantage of lower provider-to-patient ratios and reliable scheduling, ensuring a balanced work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct interpretation of specialized radiographic studies, including fluoroscopic procedures and examinations of the genitourinary tract.Analyze and report findings from screening and diagnostic mammograms, including needle localization of identified masses.Evaluate and document diagnostic imaging results for all four NHCNE sites, adhering to specified reporting timelines.Perform assessments and interventions when potential problems or emergencies arise.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care interactions.Ensure responsiveness to all communication, including email and voicemail.Required SkillsProficient in interpreting various radiographic studies and procedures.Strong analytical skills for evaluating and reporting diagnostic imaging findings.Knowledgeable in legal considerations surrounding patient care.Excellent documentation practices and communication proficiency.Capability to anticipate issues and act accordingly to mitigate risks.QualificationsDoctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree.Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology or equivalent.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.Successful completion of an accredited internship and residency program.A minimum of three (3) years of clinical practice experience in a Diagnostic Radiology Department within the last four (4) years.Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of Connecticut.Career Growth OpportunitiesAt Matrix Providers, we are committed to your professional development and advancement.
