Duties
Develop and implement Montessori-based lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and individual student needs
Foster a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and respect among children
Manage daily classroom activities, including toddler care and preschool routines, to promote optimal development
Utilize behavior management strategies to support positive social interactions and emotional regulation
Assess student progress through observations, standardized testing, and formative assessments; adjust instruction accordingly
Collaborate with parents and caregivers to communicate student progress and developmental milestones effectively
Support children’s literacy education, math skills, physical education activities, and overall childhood development initiatives
Requirements
Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings or daycare environments
Strong knowledge of Montessori methods and curriculum development principles
Experience with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques
Familiarity with classroom management practices for preschoolers and toddlers
Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members effectively
Background in childhood development theories and practices; prior preschool or private school experience is preferred
Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical activities, and social-emotional learning
Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable
