Join their team today and take the next step in your career.Assembler Responsibilities:Fit, align, assemble, and fasten sheet metal parts, motors, electronics, molded parts, and sub-assemblies into completed units, including making necessary electrical connectionsVisually inspect assemblies for fit, function, and surface defectsTroubleshoot non-conforming units by repairing, reworking, or partially disassembling as neededTest units for electrical continuity, proper operation, and overall functionalityPackage completed units into corrugated containers with appropriate packing materialsLabel containers with required information such as type, style, color, and model numberWork from blueprints, assembly drawings, process sheets, standard work, and instructions to perform consistent, safe, and efficient assembly operationsUse required hand tools, air-powered tools, measuring instruments, and gaugesEnsure final assemblies meet quality standards and are available for further inspection; follow special instructions for non-standard unitsParticipate in workplace organization practices and continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean manufacturing principles and 5S practicesRequirements For Assembler:Must be able to safely lift up to 15 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbsMust be able to stand on concrete for extended periods (up to 8 hours)Must be able to reach as required to perform job tasksHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredAbility to work from assembly drawings, blueprints, process sheets, and standard work instructionsAbility to learn to operate and make routine adjustments to various machines and equipmentWillingness and ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime as neededWhy Work with QPS?Access to sought-after positions with leading employersDedicated placement specialists who will guide you through every step of the job search processBest of all, our services are 100% free to job seekers!We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
