Warehouse Manager/Driver

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Warehouse Manager/Driver to lead our warehouse operations and ensure seamless logistics execution. This role combines strategic oversight of warehouse activities with hands-on driving responsibilities, playing a pivotal part in maintaining an efficient schedule. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in warehouse management, and a solid understanding of transportation planning and logistics management. Responsibilities Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, and distribution activities to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Manage transportation planning and logistics coordination, utilizing transportation management and warehouse management to streamline freight movement and delivery schedules. Supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance on process management, safety protocols, and performance expectations to foster a high-performing team environment. Conduct regular process improvement initiatives utilizing lean principles and continuous improvement strategies to optimize warehouse workflows and reduce waste. Drive the supervision of freight operations including distribution management to ensure timely deliveries. Maintain accurate inventory control and inventory management. Enforce safety standards, oversee shipping & receiving procedures, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements across warehouse operations. Lead team management efforts by fostering effective managerial communication, supervising logistics staff, and promoting a culture of accountability. Requirements Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles including inventory control, procurement, demand planning, production planning, and logistics management. Experience with freight operations such as shipping & receiving. Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment Strong managerial communication skills with the ability to coordinate across departments and external partners effectively. Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; experience in driving company vehicles or trucks is highly desirable. Knowledge of safety standards related to warehouse operations and transportation regulations.
