Equipment Installer II
JOB DESCRIPTION
An Equipment Installer II is responsible for leading quality installations of equipment in Data Center/Construction environments as specified in engineering instructions and drawings and in accordance with customer standards. This is a field-based position, requiring regional and occasional national travel.
Responsibilities
Install equipment in Data Center/Construction environments
On-site analysis of job drawings, specifications and MOPs
Ensure quality installations by conforming to all applicable standards
Perform all work with safety as the top priority. This includes following all company and customer mandated procedures as well as utilizing the proper PPE for the task at hand
Maintain professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service
Use computer for Data Entry/Administrative tasks
Ability to lead team of Installers in all above tasks
Participating in project meetings
Conduct daily safety meetings
Ability to generate daily job logs/reports
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of equipment installation experience in Data Center/Construction environments or equivalent technical training
Strong verbal, written and customer-facing skills
Basic computer skills to include MS Office or equivalent
Familiarity with construction management software, such as Procore
Advanced knowledge and skills with power/hand tools
Ability to adjust to fluctuating work schedules
Ability to pass background, drug, and motor vehicle screening
Standard Training Requirements
OSHA10 required, OSHA30 preferred
Fall protection preferred
Manlift/Forklift certification preferred
