We are currently seeking a Lead Technician / Trainer for our MXOne Division to support a diverse portfolio of service, training and maintenance tasks. Our ideal technician maintains a relentless focus on meeting and exceeding customer needs and expectations. They will build relationships with current customers by delivering on our promises and create new relationships with potential customers in a proactive manner, promoting all Firetrol's services. Join our elite team of over 1200 of the best Fire Protection Professionals in the industry.Execute complex service tasks or services on a wide range of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic products. Identifies and resolves complex troubleshooting issues. Provides guidance to more junior level technicians as needed. Perform service and repairs on a complex turbine assisted, high performance fire monitor Develop procedures, systems and support structures for the service, maintenance and installation of the MXOne Complete service acknowledgements electronically via ServiceTrade Installation of new, retrofit, and tenant improvement projects Provide support, guidance, and expertise to other field installers and helpers Train third party technicians to perform basic maintenance functions of the MXOne Read, write and communicate directions to a variety of coworkersRequirements At least four (4) years experience in hands-on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical field installations and repairs Working knowledge of common electrical systems, basic hydraulic theory and be capable of complex mechanical repairs Experience with service/installation/repair of fire apparatus preferred but not required Ability to use appropriate trade tools to perform daily duties efficiently and safely Ability to train others to use trade appropriate tools efficiently and safely Knowledge of the fire protection and/or fire-fighting industry Knowledge of OSHA safety standards Ability to work under tight deadlines Second language speaker preferred Familiar with safe operation of non-commercial truck and trailer operations Forklift experience preferred Ability to travel internationallyBenefitsFiretrol offers competitive wages and top-of-the-line benefits that include health, dental vision, life insurance, short and long term disability, paid time off and a 401(k) plan with a generous company match and immediate vesting.
