Basic QualificationsCompleted bachelors degreeProgram Management experience in the aerospace and defense industry.Project management experience with the ability to effectively lead teams to accomplish critical objectives.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of personnel and internal and external customers.Understanding of program execution and how program performance effects business operations.Experience or familiarity to cost account management (CAM)Innovative problem solver who can resolve complex issues.Ability to accomplish business / program goals without day-to-day direction and tasking.Knowledge on program and program management methodology techniques and working knowledge of program cost/scheduling tools (MS project or OpenPlan ,SAP, Apriso, etc.)Ability to travel to customer, supplier, and end-user facilities as needed.Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a US-DOD Secret Clearance.Job DescriptionProgram Manager for Lockheed Martin, Missile and Fire Control Business Area Infrared, Fixed Wing Systems reporting directly to Portfolio Manager.
