As we continue to expand, we invite you to join us on this exciting journey.The Role Remix: EMPIRE is looking for a multifaceted Director of Commerce & Streaming Partnerships in Nashville to support our global marketing and sales teams. This role serves as a critical link between our label team, DSP editorial and marketing partners, and our Nashville artist roster, with a primary focus on prioritizing and pitching key releases across streaming platforms. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable — someone who can confidently manage the responsibilities below while thriving in a fast-moving, ever-evolving environment.Build and maintain strong relationships with DSP editorial, marketing, and account teams to maximize exposure and opportunities for priority releases and developing artistsLead streaming strategy and DSP pitching for key Nashville releases, ensuring timely submissions and alignment with campaign goalsAdvise artist and label teams on streaming release strategies, rollout timing, and DSP opportunities to ensure campaigns are positioned for maximum impact and all priority releases are pitched in a timely mannerDevelop and execute playlisting strategies and integrated commercial campaigns that support both emerging and established artists, driving audience growth, awareness, and long-tail streaming performanceCollaborate cross-functionally with marketing, release planning, sales, and other internal teams to align streaming initiatives with broader campaign objectivesIdentify and develop innovative DSP marketing, promotional, content, and brand partnership opportunities for artists and releasesServe as a trusted partner to artist management teams and independent label partners, representing projects authentically and advocating for DSP supportCoordinate “new artist” and “ones to watch” campaign pitches for developing artists across streaming platformsAnalyze streaming performance and audience data using platforms such as Spotify for Artists, Apple Music for Artists, and Chartmetric to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insightsCraft data-informed pitches and presentations using internal metrics, market trends, and competitive analysisBrief and deliver engaging assets for pitches, bespoke event creatives, and DSP-targeted marketing campaignsTrack, report, and communicate DSP campaign performance, key wins, and growth opportunities to internal teams and partnersAttend concerts, industry events, and partner meetings as needed; occasional evening, weekend, and travel requirements may applyManage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization, creativity, and attention to detailSupport additional projects and operational needs as required by the businessKey Notes For Success5–7 years of relevant music industry experience, ideally across streaming, digital partnerships, commercial strategy, or DSP relationsStrong network of DSP relationships within the Nashville music communityStrong understanding of DSP ecosystems, streaming strategy, and current industry best practicesProficiency with platforms including Spotify for Artists, Apple Music for Artists, Chartmetric, and other relevant analytics toolsBased in Nashville, TN or willing to relocateExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with a personal and engaging style that reflects the voice of EMPIRE and our artist rosterPassion for contemporary music and culture, particularly Country, Folk, Americana, and PopHighly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and drive initiatives through completionProactive, collaborative, and adaptable, with a willingness to ask questions, learn quickly, and jump in where neededAbility to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalismPositive, team-first mentality with a “no job too small” attitudeAt EMPIRE, we value diversity and always treat all employees and job applicants based on merit, qualifications, competence, and talent.
