Position Summary:
Summa Health is seeking experienced *Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurses (MS/TELE RNs)* for a 30-bed acuity-adaptable unit. Candidates must have strong MS/TELE experience, recent Epic and phlebotomy experience, and be willing to float as needed.
Requirements:
- Active RN license.
- *2+ years of recent MS/TELE experience – Required.*
- *Recent Epic experience within the last 12 months – Required* and must be clearly listed on the resume.
- *Recent phlebotomy experience within the last 12 months – Required.*
- *BLS and ACLS – Required.*
- Nursing degree from an *ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program – Required.*
- Must be willing to float.
- Charge Nurse experience highly preferred; candidates without charge experience must be willing to train.
- Strong telemetry and medical/surgical nursing skills.
- Must successfully complete required Summa competency, skills, EKG/telemetry, pharmacology, and core competency assessments.
Unit Details
- 30-bed MS/TELE acuity-adaptable unit.
- Patient ratios generally range from *1:5–6*, depending on acuity.
- Responsibilities include medical/surgical and telemetry patient care.
- Floating is required.
Charge Nurse Responsibilities
Charge Nurse responsibilities may include:
- Assigning patient assignments.
- Pyxis and crash cart checks.
- Assigning admissions.
- Coordinating with the supervisor.
- Assigning breaks and meals.
- Making assignments based on patient care needs for the next shift.
Schedule & RTO
- *RTO must be provided at the time of submission.*
- Maximum *7 days of RTO* permitted.
- *No RTO during the first two weeks* of the assignment.
- Block schedules may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis.
- Clearly indicate in the submission comments if the candidate is interested in a block schedule.
- *Solid black scrubs required.*

Pay: $2,700.00 - $2,752.00 per week
