Senior Project Manager- HVAC
DescriptionThe candidate will be managing personnel, coordinating project schedules, ensuring that health and safety regulations are observed, and regularly reporting project status to internal team members.The candidate must have experience with HVAC systems and project management, as well as a strong understanding of project management methodologies.Pay Range: $125,000 to $160,000 DOELocation: Mineola NYEmployment Type: Full-timeResponsibilities: Meet with the Sales Team to review the secured project including confirming the scope of work, deliverables / client expectations, reviewing the estimate of costs, and identifying any required subcontractors after which they will be responsible for:Project PlanningDefine project scope, budget, and schedule.Develop detailed project plans and timelines.Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients Team ManagementLead HVAC technicians and subcontractors.Communicate regularly with clients and internal Dynaire teams.Resolve conflicts and ensure client satisfaction Technical AbilitiesSupervise installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems.Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.Conduct site inspections and troubleshoot issues Budget & Resource ManagementManage procurement of materials and equipment.Monitor labor costs and project expenditures.Negotiate contracts and timelines Documentation & ReportingMaintain detailed records of project progress. LOTS of paperwork!Report regularly to the HVAC Operations Manager, Finance Team, and PresidentQualifications5+ years experience as an HVAC Project Manager Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and maintenance requirementsStrong understanding of project management principlesRFI submittalsOversee remote projectsExceptional communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skillsStrong attention to detail with paperworkAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesProficiency with project management softwareValid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various job sitesBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, PMP / PMI or related training (preferred but not required)Work Environment: This role includes both office work and field work.
