About This OpportunityCTI Staffing is partnering with a leading grocery retail organization to find a POS Analyst supporting overnight point-of-sale deployments, based remotely within the Salisbury/Mooresville, NC area. This is an overnight-shift role, approximately 11:00 PM to 7:00/8:00 AM, Sunday night through Thursday night, on an ongoing basis.This role sits at the center of how a major retailer keeps its stores running through system upgrades and conversions. You'll work overnight, validating deployments as they go live, troubleshooting issues in real time, and keeping vendors and store teams aligned so conversions land clean. It's a hands-on, high-visibility role for someone who's comfortable owning problems independently in the middle of the night.What You'll DoLead and support overnight POS code deployments and store conversionsValidate successful deployment of code and configuration changesTroubleshoot deployment-related issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams and vendorsConduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actionsUse SQL to investigate and resolve data and configuration issuesWrite and maintain batch scripts to support deployment and troubleshooting workDocument findings, solutions, and deployment outcomes clearlyCommunicate issues, risks, and resolutions to stakeholders in real timeRequirementsWhat You BringMust-Have:Experience supporting or administering point-of-sale (POS) systemsAbility and willingness to work an overnight shift, approximately 11:00 PM to 7:00/8:00 AM, Sunday night through Thursday night, on an ongoing basisWorking knowledge of SQL for data analysis and troubleshootingBatch scripting experienceAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsStrong analytical and root cause problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong written and verbal communication skillsNice-to-Have:Experience with retail POS platforms (e.g., NCR StoreLine, NCR Emerald)Experience supporting wireless Android-based applicationsPrior retail technology deployment experienceExperience coordinating with third-party vendors and implementation teams Technical Environment: POS terminals and registers, SQL Server, batch scripting, deployment/configuration management tools, ticketing systemsWhat Success Looks Like:Independently owns overnight deployment windows with minimal escalationDiagnoses and resolves POS/configuration issues quickly under pressureBuilds trusted working relationships with vendors and store teams during live conversions
