This role requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy across complex specimens and testing.Key Responsibilities:Perform chemistry testing and analysis in a busy hospital labAccurately perform differentials, including neonatal specimensHandle complex samples (e.g., turbid specimens, platelet clumps, abnormal cell findings)Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation including Sysmex and CellaVisionEnsure compliance with laboratory standards and regulatory requirementsCollaborate with lab team to support timely and accurate resultsRequirements:Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory ScientistStrong experience in Chemistry requiredExperience in a large hospital setting (600+ beds) strongly preferredProficiency with Sysmex and CellaVision systems requiredMust be able to work independently in a high-volume environmentCertifications:ASCP, AMT, or AAB certification requiredAdditional Details:Only Medical Technologists / Medical Laboratory Scientists will be considered (MLTs not accepted)Experience with neonatal populations and complex lab samples highly preferredContact:HumanEdge HealthHumanEdge Travel Healthcare Job ID #17899.
