Warehouse Receiving And Distribution SpecialistEssential Duties And Responsibilities:Receive incoming packaging material, ingredients, and small packages. Schedule delivery appointments, and be available to answer dock door during business hoursLoad/Unload, document, and record inbound/outbound shipmentsStore and label received materials and rotate existing stock according to FIFO criteriaReconcile bills-of-lading, verify counts, and ensure quantities received are as orderedMove material/packages for internal departmentsMaintain receiving logs. Provide reports for Quality, Planning, Purchasing, and Accounting.Manage vacuum waste drums and maintain chargeAssist in operation of CO2 chamberSafely operate fork truck with emphasis on warehousing skills, high stacking experience, and palletizing material including; charging, daily inspection logs etc.Maintain and be responsible for disposition of hold (defective) and test material.Provide WIP for production team based on needs, keep bins of product organized and labeledKeep warehouse clean, organized and dispose of recycling appropriatelyLabel and record MSDS materialsMaintain Central Stores inventory of Production, Maintenance, and Office supplies.Assist in keeping supplies stocked and setting up for the next shiftResponsible for reporting food safety and quality issues and initiating action, immediatelyFollow all Food Safety guidelines, but not limited to:GMP's / Allergen Program / Quality / Sanitation / SafetyAdditional duties and various projects as neededShift Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:15pmRequirements:Minimum 2-4 years' experience in a manufacturing or distribution environmentMinimum 2-4 years' experience operating a sit-down forkliftBenefits And Pay To Insert Below:Starting wage $21.00 / hour (commensurate with experience and location). *Note that rate could change based on shift schedule.Medical, Prescription, Dental, Vision CoverageFlexible spending accountsDisability coverageLife insuranceCritical illness and accident insuranceLegal and identity protection insurancePet insuranceEmployee assistance programCommuter benefitsTuition assistanceAdoption and surrogacy assistance401(k)PTOParental LeaveMaven Family PlanningFree tea weekly
