Cooks must ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met and work closely with nutrition team to ensure recipes and portion controls are followed. Cooks and bakes entrees, casseroles, routine and complex recipes for patients, cafeteria and catering in a high quality and timely manner.Cook Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent preferred.Culinary Certification preferred.ServSafe Certification preferredThis is safety sensitive position. *Minimum Requirements:Ability to work in a fast- paced environment.Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team or independently.Excellent time management and organizational skillsMulti-task and prioritize effectively.Full Kitchen/Cook experience required.Preferred Requirements:At least one year of work in a healthcare kitchen a plus.Knowledge of dietary requirements and nutrition in healthcare environment preferred.Prior work in a commercial kitchenUnderstand food safety and sanitation.Benefits & Perks: your health and happiness matters!
